The Blackmagic MultiView 16 is highly flexible, letting you choose from 2x2 (4 sources), 3x3 (9 sources), or 4x4 (16 sources) layouts, all controlled from the front panel. It supports any combination of SD, HD, and Ultra HD inputs simultaneously, essentially giving you 16 independent broadcast monitors on one display.

Use HD or Ultra HD Monitors

MultiView 16 is compatible with both HD and Ultra HD displays, offering maximum flexibility. Use an Ultra HD monitor for stunning sharpness, with four times the pixel density per view. On a 2x2 layout, each view delivers 1920x1080 HD resolution, while a 4x4 layout still provides 960x540 pixels per view. It includes 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs for easy connection to TVs, projectors, and broadcast monitors.

Elegant Design

The compact, machined metal 1U design of MultiView 16 makes it easy to use, with front-panel buttons for quick source selection and routing to any grid position. The spin knob control functions like a video router, and the SOLO button allows full-screen monitoring of any source. It also includes a built-in multi-voltage AC power supply and professional 6G-SDI input connections with loop-through for easy integration into any facility.

6G-SDI Multi Rate SDI Connections

MultiView 16 offers sixteen 6G-SDI inputs with separate loop-through, compatible with SD, HD, and Ultra HD equipment. Each input acts as an independent video monitor, allowing up to 16 different video standards to run simultaneously. Automatic re-sync supports mixing non-referenced SD, HD, and Ultra HD sources. A reference input is also included for connecting to other studio equipment.

External “Router” Control

MultiView 16 features Ethernet support for Blackmagic Videohub router protocol, ensuring full compatibility with Videohub software and hardware for routing inputs to any view. It can also be controlled remotely via the included software for Mac or Windows, allowing you to adjust settings and add on-screen labels if access to the front panel is limited.

Designed for Efficient Workflow

The interactive front panel of MultiView 16 allows easy display mode adjustments and input rearrangement when mounted in desks. For installations behind monitors, it can be remotely controlled via Ethernet.
